Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Friday issued notice to Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Military Intelligence (MI) in a case pertaining to missing detainees.
A three-member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the case.
The bench allowed the seven former detainees of Adiala Jail to be a party in the case.
Raja Irshad Kayani, counsel for agencies, told the court that a plea for the release of two detainees Abdul Majid and Abdul Basit has been dismissed as both of them were involved in launching attacks against forces.
The SC also issued summons to the Ministry of Defence.
