Lahore: At least two policemen were killed and two others wounded when unidentified miscreants, riding on motorcar, opened fire at the police check-post in Lahore, Pakistan’s city of Punjab province, sources said on Monday.
The sources said that the miscreants opened fire on a police check-post in Shera Kot area of Lahore, recently set up at the entrance of Lahore on the directions of CCPO Lahore, resulting in the killing of two policemen and injuring two others.
“The bodies and injured were later shifted to a local hospital in Lahore,” they added.
The heavy contingent of police has cordoned-off the area and started search for the culprits.
