Quetta: A Frontier Corps official was killed and 25 civilians injured, inducing a child and a woman in a blast at Alimo Chowk in Qeutta, sources said on Monday.
According o the sources the blast took place near a vehicle of the paramilitary force. The sources said that several vehicles and shops were destroyed in the blast. A TV reported that the blast occurred near an FC check-post
Heavy contingent of forces rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area. The dead and injured were taken to a nearby hospital where some injured were reported to be in critical condition.
According to preliminarily reports, the bomb was detonated by a remote control.
