Karachi: A top most official of Pakistan has sent 85 highly expensive camels to royal family of Dubai as a gift.
A rough estimate of cost of these 85 camels is over million of dollars, sources in Airport Security Force disclosed.
A special cargo plane personally owned by the royal family of United Arab Emirates’s most develop state reached Quaid e Azam International Airport, Karachi on Monday.
“Just after reaching of plane, 85 were brought to the airport to aboard the cargo plane,” the sources said.
“However, the matter got noticed by the airport authorities when an Airport Security Force Officer objected on boarding expensive camels without any prior information.”
But objection of the officer went in vain as telephone calls from various high-ups ‘cleared’ the matter.
“Within half an hour, all camels were on plane which flew immediately back to Dubai,” the sources said.
