Karachi: Pakistan People Party (PPP) Member National Assembly vehicle came under attack when he was returning after attending funeral prayer of Malik Muhammad Khan, a PPP office bearer and ex-Naib Nazim of Lyari who was killed on Thursday.
According to media reports, unknown assailants hurled a hand-grenade on Gaobl’s vehicle but he remained safe.
The PPP leader confirmed the attack saying his convey was attacked while returning from Lyari.
Earlier, funeral prayer of Khan was offered in Lyari. A large number people and PPP workers and leaders, including Sindh Assembly Speaker Nisar Ahmed Khoro attended the funeral prayers.
