Islamabad: Several ministers on Tuesday expressed concerns over the increase in Haj expenses as the federal cabinet approved new Haj Policy for 2012 during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani.
The prime minister issued orders that low burden be shifted to pilgrims. According to new Haj policy as many as 189 people would perform Haj and applications would be received first come first basis.
 Sources said that some ministers including Farooq Sattar, Sheikh Waqqas, Manzoor Watto, Bahadur Sehar and Babar Khan Ghouri opposed increase in Haj expenses.
