Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhua (KPK) government has requested Federal government to place names of 200 escaped prisoners of Bannu jail in the Exit Control List (ECL), sources said on Tuesday.
The sources said that the provincial government also sent a list of 200 prisoners to the federal government.
“High security measurements were taken on the airport, railway station and bus stands of Peshawar in order to arrest the fugitives,” they added.
It is to be mentioned here that almost 200 prisoners were escaped when militants belonging to Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) attacked Bannu jail and freed their companions.
