Lahore: Former law minister Babar Awan has said that he was ready to appear before the Supreme Court in contempt of court case against Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani but the court preferred a women (Nargis Sethi) as witness.
He was talking to media after returning from India on Tuesday. Awan said that he had completed his argument in Bhutto case and appointment of Aitzaz Ahsan as lawyer was a routine matter.
He said he was still a member of the Pakistan People’s Party and would remain so.
Awan said that India and Pakistan should resolve their problems through dialogue.
