Quetta: At least six people were killed when some unidentified men opened fire on a shoe shop in Quetta, Pakistan’s city of Balochistan province, sources said on Monday.
The sources said that unidentified armed men opened fire on a shop at prince road, an area of Quetta, resulting in the immediate killing of four people and injuring two others which later on their way to hospital succumbed to death.
The bodies of the deceased were shifted to a local hospital.
“Aggravated people attacked emergency ward of hospital and police party against the killing of their relatives,” sources said.
The deceased belonged to Hazara community. Other Parties including Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) and Hazara Democratic Party condemned the violent incident and demanded serious actions against the culprits.
