Quetta: The Supreme Court has remarked that interest of federal government in Balochistan has been exposed.
The remarks were made by Justice Khilji Arif Hussain as a three-judge bench of the apex court headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhnry resumed hearing into Balochistan law and order case on Friday.
Justice Khilji remarked that government’s interest was evident from the absence of Attorney General Maulvi Anwarul Haq in the hearing.
SC has been conducting the hearing in Quetta registry of the apex court, which secured the recovery of three missing persons today after it issued warning to police on Thursday that if the missing persons were not produce, police officers should consider themselves suspended.
IG FC Ubaidullah Khan Khattak also appeared before the court over the summoning and denied the charges of provincial minister Sadiq Umrani about FC beating up local people.
