Islamabad: Setting aside Balochistan High Court verdict of releasing Shahzain Bugti on bail in arms recovery case, the Supreme Court of Pakistan has cancelled his bail along with his 27 associates.
Law enforcement agencies on Dec 22, 2011 had intercepted Mr Bugti’s convoy at Bulaili Checkpost when he was returning from border town of Chaman.
A huge cache of arms was reported to have been recovered from his custody.
He was arrested and was shifted to jail before the Balochistan High Court released him on bail.
