Boston: Pakistan star all-rounder Shahid Khan Afridi is willing to set up a welfare organization to help poor and needy people.
For the sake of this cause Shahid Afridi presented his several mamorable items including his memorable bats and balls for sale, which were auctioned in 90 million US dollars.
The bat Afridi used in Asia Cup was auctioned in 18 million US dollars, while the ball through which Afridi took six wickets against Australia in 2009 was sold in eight million US dollar.
Speaking on the occasion Afridi appreciated the participants of participating the auction, added that the participants boost his moral through buying his items.
Recalling the welfare services of former Pakistan captain Imran Khan, Shahid Afridi said that he also wants to work like Imran. He said that he wants to establish an organization to help poor people.
It is pertinent to mention here that Shahid Afridi had excused playing in the ongoing National Twenty20 Tournament.
