Rawalpindi: Lahore lions defeated Peshawar Panthers in a low scoring match by 34 runs in the sixth match of Faysal Bank Super Eight Twenty20 Cup 2011-12 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Peshawar Panthers failed to chase a low total of 114 runs and bowled out at 79 runs. Zohaib Khan remained the top-scorrer from Peshawar Panthers side along with Riffat Ullah Khan who scored 14 runs. the other batsmen of the Peshawar team failed to enter into double figures.
Lahore Lions bowled exceptionallywell to bowled out the Peshawar team on 79 runs. Wahab Riaz and Adnan Rasool took three wickets along with Imran Ali and Raza Ali who shared two wickets each.
 Earlier Lahore lions scored 113 runs due to the sensible innings of Abdul Razzaq who scored 37 runs.
