Jhang: At least eight people were killed and several others injured when a bus fell due to over-speeding in Shorkot, Pakistan’s city of Punjab province, sources said on Tuesday.
The sources said that the incident occurred on Jhang road in Shorkot city and the bus was carrying almost 60 passengers.
“The bus was carrying pilgrims to the tomb of Sakhi Sarwar,” sources added.
The deceased and injured were shifted to a local hospital in Jhang district.
Police said that the incident happened due to over-speeding while further investigations are commenced in order to find out the causes of the incident.
