New Delhi: Afraid of Pakistani spinner Saeed Ajmal, senior Indian cricketers have reportedly complained to the International Cricket Council (ICC) over his bowling action, Indian media reported.
Citing “sources” the Times of India said that senior players feel that Ajmal chuck while bowling.
The PCB and ICC later clarified that no latitude had been given to the Pakistani spinner.
Recently, Ajmal ignited a controversy over his bowling action in an interview to BBC in which he claimed that the ICC had given him special permission to straighten his arm beyond the allowed 15 degrees.
However, ICC has said that they have not received any complain over Ajmal’s bowling action from match officials.
