Islamabad: About 57 percent of Pakistanis believe cricketer Mohammed Amir should appeal against 5 years ban on him to play cricket.
According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup Pakistan, a nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked “Recently, Pakistani Cricketer Mohammed Amir who has been banned to play for five years due to allegations of spot fixing have announced that he will appeal against the ban. Some people think that he should appeal whereas some people think that he should not, what is your opinion?”
Responding to this 57 percent believe that Mohammed Amir should appeal against the ban whereas 25 percent believe he should not. However 18 percent did not give a view.
