Karachi: As the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) is reached on the verge of destruction and facing serious financial crisis with an imminent cancelation of flight safety certificate by the European Union, Managing Director PIA, Captain Nadeem Khan Yousufzai is busy in setting new examples of favouritism by taking his blue-eyed airhostess to the flights which he has been operating himself, Pakistan’s local Urdu daily reported on Friday.
According to the report, the MD took airhostess Sadia Saeed Mughal to almost every flight during the last four months which either he himself was operating or travelling in.
The paper quoting sources said that the MD has flown to Canada on Tuesday via flight PK-789. “Yousufzai also directed the management to deploy Sadia Saeed Mughal on the flight,” the paper said.
“Mughal is considered as a favorite airhostess of the MD and usually she does not perform her duties on normal flights and remains available-off (standby) but she gets all the flying allowances equal to the other colleagues,” the paper added.
Tahir Khalil, media advisors to the MD, told the newspaper that he was not aware of any such issue and would be able to comment after MD returned.
