Islambad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader and ex-member of Central Executive Committee (CEC), Dr Israr Shah on Thursday announced to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Addressing a press conference along with PTI chief Imran Khan, Shah said that politics and manifesto of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had been buried in Garhi Khudda Bux.
He said that had been sidelined by the party because he was very active person in lawyers movement for the restoration of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Choudhry.
Shah observed that PPP suspended his membership because he opposed Party’s decision to give Sitara-e-Imtiaz to Babar Awan.
Dr Shah had lost his legs in a bomb blast during the movement.
