Islamabad: The National Assembly Committee for Law and Justice on Tuesday rejected a bill, baring people with dual nationalities from becoming parliamentarian.
The committee met here under the chairmanship of Chaudhry Abdul Ghafffoor. Majority of the committee members were of the view that the law also existed against dual nationality holders in the country.
However, there are several lawmakers and key ministers in the country holding dual nationalities and the move apparently seemed to protect such personalities.
