Rawalpindi: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Sami (JUI-S) chief Maulana Sami-ul-Haq on Sunday said that government is creating hindrances in Difa-e-Pakistan Council’s (DPC) public gathering which is schedule to be held on Monday(tomorrow) at Abpara Chowk, Islamabad.
Talking to media along with other leader of DPC after the council’s meeting, Haq said that Islamabad conference was going to be organised to safeguard the Pakistan territory and block United States intervention in the country.
He said that government had reopened the Nato supply on US pressure, adding that they would not allow the government to resume the supply.
Sami-ul-Haq further said that a five member delegation of DPC would visit Balochistan in order to organise an ‘All Parties Conference’ in Balochistan on February 27 adding that at least 30 political parties would participate in the conference.
He said the council strongly condemned the banned imposed by the government on Hafiz Saeed Ahmad and Maulan Yousuf Ludyanvi.
Hafiz Saeed said that he would challenge the government decision in the court.
