Islamabad: Interior minister Rehman Malik said on Thursday that there were six companies involved in the mishandling of drugs in Punjab and though one of the supplier Alpha Company’s license had been suspended four months before it was manufacturing drugs.
Talking to media in federal capital, he disclosed the Federal Investigation Agency and Punjab government would jointly investigate the matter and an action would be taken against the drug inspectors.
He objected that display of his Computerized National Identity Card on the television was illegal according to law as well as Nadra act and PTA had blocked over 10 million illegal mobile phone SIMs so far.
He said that killings in Karachi and Quetta were being painted as sectarian matter, to cope with the problem the Rangers had been put on alert and the efficacy of police had been enhanced.
