Karachi: The top four Pakistani banks profited Rs732 billions over a period of four years from 2006 to 2010.
Habib Bank Ltd remained on the top of the list by making a profit of Rs180 billions while Allied Bank Ltd earned the lowest profit of Rs76 billions during the period.
The banks though earn a huge profit pay very little share to their account holders.
The Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) earned more than two hundred billions in the span of five years and transferred fifty eight billions to the account holders, while Allied Bank Limited (ABL) earned 155 billions and distributed 79 billions among the account holders.
