Karachi: At least six persons including a sub-inspector deputed at the US consulate were killed and three others were injured in the result of the different incidents of violence here in Karachi on Monday.
According to the sources the sub-inspector Anwar Sheikh was deputed at the seventh check post of US consulate situated at Mai Kolachi road, where he was killed by someone by firing him from two feet distance.
The dead body of Anwar Sheikh was shifted in the hospital for autopsy.
On the other hand on person was killed in Gulshan-e-Hadeed in the result of the firing of unknown persons.
Five persons were injured on the dispute of land; meanwhile one person named Ashiq Hussain was died in the hospital during the treatment.
Ayyub was killed by unknown persons in Orangi Town area of the city, meanwhile Chowkidar Asif Khan was killed in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area by known gunmen with firing. The deceased was the resident of Kohat.
One dead body was recovered from Lyari Town and according to the police the deceased murdered after kidnapping.
