Lahore: A Sialkot-bound Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK-396 was struck by lightning on Saturday.
Media reports say the strike prompted the pilot to immediately land the plane at the Lahore Airport. However, the passengers remained unhurt.
The PIA flight was on its way to Sialkot from Karachi.
The electric system of the aircraft was badly affected due to the lightening.
