Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued show-cause notice to Khursheed Mehmood Kasuri for his meeting with former military ruler Pervez Musharraf in Dubai.
According to media reports, the former foreign minister, who recently joined the Imran Khan-led PTI had met Musharraf in Dubai on Thursday and discussed with him political situation in Pakistan and his possible come back to Pakistan.
The reports say Kasuri gave some advices and briefing to his former boss regarding his joining of the PTI.
The PTI, which emerged as a third major political party has been facing criticism due to accepting cronies of Muhsarraf.
Shafqat Mehmmod, PTI Information Secretary, said Mr Kasuri ran into Gen Musharraf at a wedding in Dubai in front of hundreds of people. He termed it an accidental meeting on a social occasion.
