Karachi: Karachi Transport Ittehad has announced to observe strike for indefinite period in the city from December 31 in protest against CNG loadshadding.
President KTI Irshad Hussain Bukhari told media on Wednesday that the strike will remain continue till the resignation of minister for petroleum.
He said that the government decision of two-day weekly CNG loadshedding would severely affect the transport as 60 percent of the public transport vehicles converted to CNG would not be able to ply on the roads.
“The transporters will never convert their vehicles from CNG to diesel,” he said.
