The Chief Justice said that the police and Rangers conduct operation without showing any favour to any one and without being influenced from any quarter, be it political or otherwise.
He further said that better results cannot be produced without the cooperation of prosecution.
He said that more than 1000 cases are pending in different courts which are regrettable. Inspector General of Police Sindh presented a report regarding cases in the meeting.
Strict security measures were taken for the meeting.
Earlier, the Chief Justice arrived in Karachi to chair a high level meeting that reviewed the steps taken to improve the security situation of the city.
