Islamabad: Former Senator Azam Swati who recently joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said that his several friends in the parliament were ready to resign.
He was talking to media on Monday. Swati said that he still has good relations with his ex party Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUI-F).
He said that he had not used his option which his former party gave him.
The PTI is emerging as a third political force in Pakistan and a group of politicians from South Punjab is all set to jump into the bandwagon of the Imran Khan-led party.
Earlier heavyweights like Shah Mehmood Qureshi, former ex minister, and Shafqat Mehmood, former senator and political commentator, have joined the PTI.
