Islamabad: Azam Swati who has resigned from his party Jamiat Ulema-e- Islam-Fazl( JUI-F) and the Senate may join the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) sources said.
Swat announced his resignation from his party and Senate membership here on Wednesday
In a press briefing he said he resigned from the post due to rampant corruption and security threats to the country.
He sad that he had no differences with his party and he was thankful to JUI-F chief Maulana Fazur Rehman.
Swati was to resign from the Senate in March next year. He said that all the lawmakers should resign as the parliament had become meaningless.
