Chittagong: Pakistan have completed white-wash against Bangladesh after beating the third one-day international by 58 runs at Chittagong Stadium here on Tuesday.
Mohammad Hafeez who was not click in the batting but provided great spell to the Pakistan and took 3 main wicket in his ten overs and gave only 27 runs.
Experienced Saeed Ajmal and Abdur Rehman took two wickets each. Saeed Ajmal was proved economical bowler for the green shirts who gave only four runs in his six overs. Whereas part time spinner Shoaib Malik also took three wicket.
For Bangladesh, no batsmen have managed to give stand his team and all team out only on 119. Highest scorer was Mahmudullah who made 35 runs while opener Shahriar Nafees chipped in with 25 runs.
Earlier, Pakistan’s batting line was collapsed against the hosts and all team out only on 177 runs. Only three Pakistani batsmen were managed to reach the double digits. Umar Akmal was the highest score for the Pakistan who made 57 runs and captain Misbah-ul-Haq scored patient 47 runs.
It was the 24 win for the green shirts in one-day international matches in 2011 .
Umar Akmal was named ‘Man of the Series’ and ‘Man of the Match’ for his consistent batting performance for his country.
