Islamabad: The United States (US) has apologized Pakistan over NATO attack on a check post in Mohmand Agency and announced for a joint investigation regarding the attack.
US Ambassador Cameron Munter’s apology statement has been issued here from American ambassy in Islamabad.
In his statement Muntor said that he heard about the attack from media and is sorry to know about loss of lives in the attack.
US envoy to Pakistan Cameron Munter said the US and Pakistan will jointly investigate the issue. Earlier, Pakistan has summoned Munter to seek clarification over the Nato raid on its military checkpost in country’s nonwestern tribal region.
