Karachi: Dacoits in Karachi looted Rs4.4 million from another bank on Thursday.
As per details, about seven armed dacoit’s entered into a private bank located at Soljar Bazaar area of the city and made the bank staff hostage. The bank officials said that the dacoits have looted about Rs4.4 million and took away the CCTV footage with them.
Later the SSP Special Investigation Unit, Raja Umer Khatab told media that seven dacoits entered into the bank and snatched the arms from bank security guard and made the staff hostage. He said that the dacoits fled away safely in a car and took away CCTV footage and arms of security guard with them.
“The dacoity looks similar to the way which was used in Hassan square bank robbery on Wednesday,” he said. He added that the dacoits used same vehicle in the incident and fled away saftly.
“We have started the investigation and soon we will be able to arrest the culprits,” he said.
The SSP Special Investigation said that police have arrested six accused so far of 15 bank dacoities incidents this year.
