Islamabad: British Home Minister Theresa May has said that no arrest had been made in connection with the Imran Farooq murder case.
During a joint press conference with her Pakistani counterpart Rehman Malik on Thursday, she said that no man was arrested in the Imran Farooq murder case and London police commissioner gave wrong statement in this regard.
Speaking on the occasion, Rehman Malik said that he had varified from all the state agencies but found no information regarding the arrest.
Farooq was stabbed to death outside his residence in London in September last year.
London Police Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe on November 11 had said that two suspects were arrested in Pakistan for their alleged involvement in the assassination of former Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Imran Farooq.Speaking on the occasion, Rehman Malik said that he had checked all the state agencies but found no information regarding the arrest.
