Dubai: Sri Lanka defeated Pakistan in the second ODI by 25 runs at Dubai International Cricket Stadium here on Monday, leveling the five-match series by 1-1.
Pakistan scored 210 runs all out in the 47th over. Umer Akmal scored 91 runs while Shahid Khan Afridi, Sarfraz Ahmed and Misbah-ul-Haq scored 29, 24 and 21 runs, respectively.
Latish Malinga grabbed three wickets while Thushara Perera and Dilhara Fernando shared two wickets each. However, three Pakistani players were run out.
Earlier Sri Lankan skipper Tillakaratne Dilshan won the toss and chose to bat first. Sri Lanka scored 235 runs for the loss of seven wickets in allotted 50-over game.
Upel Tharanga scored 77 runs while Mahela Jayawardene and Dilshan scored 50 and 28 runs, respectively.
Saeed Ajmal got three wickets while Afridi got two wickets.
Abdul Razzak and Aizaz Cheema got one wicket each.
