New Delhi: Pakistan Friday assured India that Islamabad government is ready to send a team to probe Mumbai 2008 attacks.
This was assured by Pakistani High Commissioner to India Shahid Malik in a meeting with Indian Home Minister P.K Chidambaram. Malik told the minister that Pakistani government was ready to send a judicial commission to India to probe the Mumbai attacks.
The decision to send the judicial commission was made during interior secretary level talks between Pakistan and India.
The Pakistani judicial commission will record statements of the investigating officer of the Mumbai attacks and the magistrate who recorded Ajmal Kasab’s statement.
