London: Despite Apple’s claims that the battery of its new iPhone 4S is supposed to be powerful, many users have irritated with ‘terrible’ battery life.
During the initial iPhone 4S presentation the iPhone 4S battery is supposed to be able to handle up to 200 hours of standby time, up to 8 hours of talk time on a 3G, or 14 hours on a 2G, and up to 6 hours of Internet use on a 3G or 9 hours on wi-fi.
Many end users are complaining of battery life of only a few hours, even with minimal use and many of the power-draining “super-features” of the 4S disabled.
In its official documentation Apple admits that the standby time for its latest device is just 200 hours, 100 hours less than the iPhone 4.
One customer told that his battery life was declining by 10% in standby mode every hour even when all apps were turned off.
