Karachi: Trading Corporation of Pakistan has given contract for import of 0.215 million tons to four different companies.
These companies will sell urea at $538 per ton. These import will complete by the end of November.
Urea production has fallen in the country owing to cut in gas supply to fertiliser companies by the gas distribution companies. The government has decided to import 0.7 million tons urea to meet the shortage.
