Karachi: At least three people were gunned down in different shooting episodes in Pakistan’s largest city of Karachi on Friday, police said.
Two people were shot and injured in Ittihad Town within the limits of Mochko Police Station.
SHO Mochko Nasir Mehmood Khan citing eye witnesses told that three unidentified gunmen driving a black Toyota Corolla stopped their vehicle and opened indiscriminate firing on Waseem Khan and Imran while they were sitting near house in Ittihad Town. Both the injured were rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi where they succumbed to injuries during treatment. Both the deceased were relative of each other.
The attackers managed to escape after the attack.
In another incident, unidentified armed dacoits killed a man Raza Abbas Naqvi in Gulistan-e-Jauhar when he offered resistance during dacoity. Naqvi received four bullets.
Meanwhile, a bullet-riddled corpse that was recovered from Gulshan-e-Hadeed on October 26 within the limits of Khokharapar Police Station has been identified as Raheel Hussain. The victim was a resident of PIB Colony.
Respective police stations have registered the cases and started investigation into the cases. However, no arrest was made so far.
