Quetta: A meeting convened by acting Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), Mian Shakirullah Jan, held in Provincial Election Commissioner office, reviewed Nationwide electoral lists, including those of Baluchistan.
The meeting also participated by Provincial election commissioner; Syed Sultan Bayazeed was informed that review of electoral lists, in Baluchistan had been completed by 93 per cent.
However some districts like Awaran, Panjgur, Mastung, and Washak witnessed a slower activity due to law and order situation. However this slow activity has been observed in almost all of Baluchistan, but it was hoped that it would be completed well in time.
Despite the entire situation, the oath taking ceremony of acting election commissioner was held in Baluchistan, and he expressed his great satisfaction over pace of development in this field.
