Lahore: Commenting on the Shahid Afridi’s withdrawal from the retirement from international cricket, former captain and legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram has said that Pakistan team needs Afrdi and he should play more cricket for his country.
Talking to media here on Tuesday, Akram said that Afridi should join the team as he was a good ODI and T-20 player, adding that he should also support the captain.
Replying a query, Akram said that he didn’t need any job in the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) as he already had a job. He said that he trained Pakistani youngsters during his visits to different academies in the country. “I teach them how to tackle pressure, how to overcome problems they might face as captain of the team”.
