Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari presided over a meeting to discuss Karachi law and order situation especially after the Supreme Court’s verdict and differences between the allies emerging after the MQM’s inclusion in the ruling coalition.
Sources said that Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan, Sindh Home Minister Qaim Ali Shah and Advocate General Sindh Abdul Fathe Malik attended the meeting.
The sources said that Wasan briefed the meeting about targeted operation being carried out by Rangers in the metropolis.
The meeting also discussed reservations of Pakistan Muslim League-Q and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional.
