Islamabad: Around 54 senators including 4 non-Muslims Senators would take on March, 13 2012.
The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has an opportunity to win the Senate election which will be held in March next year. The government has already started lobbying for the pupose.
According to the reports, duration of 50 Senators to be expired on March 12 where non-Muslim Senators will also take oath for the first time under the 18th Amendment to the Constitution.
Senators who will complete their term in the upper house of the Parliament include Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Pakistan Muslim League (Q), Jamiat
Ulemai Islam (F), Jamat-e-Islami and Jamhoori Watan Party.
