Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has said that federal government has totally failed to resolve public issues, adding central government has done nothing for generating electricity in last four years which caused severe electricity short fall in the country, especially in Punjab.
Talking to a private Pakistani channel Express News’ programme ‘Kal Tak’, Sharif warned the government that he would stage protest on the roads with public if electricity issue was not resolved soon. He said people were facing severe difficulties while rulers were enjoying their portfolios.
The CM Punjab also said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has reserved all options including long march. People were on protesting on roads against prolonged load shedding for last three days but government was not paying heed on their issues.
Give more time to rulers would be injustice with Pakistani nation, he said, added that, all the money of the nation should be returned to masses after taking from the rulers who looted the national wealth.
He said accountability of the corrupt rulers was essential to save Pakistan, adding Pakistan would be destroyed if the corrupt rulers not bring under accountability.
