Lahore: The Lahore High Court on Wednesday set aside a petition seeking that Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif be declared incompetent.
Assad Abbasi Advocate of the People’s Lawyers Forum has filed an application against the chief minister under article 204 that Shahbaz had termed all the generals and the judges corrupt so that he be declared incompetent for the post.
The application noted that the CM’s statement abouth the judges came under contempt of court, thus the court shout take immediate action.
LHC judge Naseer Saeed Sheikh rejected the application.
