Karachi: Abbottabad Falcons thrashed Quetta Bears by 72 runs in a match of Faysal Bank T20 Cup on Sunday, thanks to a brisk century by Yasir Hameed and some fine bowling by Junaid Khan.
Abbottabad scored 190 in the 20 overs, losing just two wickets in the process. Yasir Hameed scored 101 off just 65 balls. He hit 14 fours and a six. Adnan Raees scored 50 off 30 balls.
In reply, Quetta managed only 118 runs in the allotted overs, losing eight wickets. Abid Ali scored 42, Mir Wais 29 and Bismillah Khan 27. These three were the only ones to reach double figures.
Yasir Hameed was declared man of the match.
Abbottabad was led by Younis Khan and Quetta by Bismillah Khan.
