Lahore: Nine more people lost their lives during last 24 hours in Lahore due to dengue fever, bringing the death toll from the deadly out break to 86 on Saturday.
Three people died of dengue fever in Meo hospital where they were admitted this week, while a child Fozia, 5 and boy Sohail 22 died in General Hospital.  An elite force officials of the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s security squad was also included among the victims of the disease. Â
The Punjab government has been taking measures to cope with the onslaught of the dengue virus and Sri Lankan experts have also been called in but the death toll never seems to be stopped.
The outbreak has spread panic among the people of cultural capital of Pakistan.
