Karachi: Sindh Home Minister Manzoor Wasan has said that as many as 378 people have been arrested during on-going army and police operation against targeted killers.
Talking to media, after visiting Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) slain ex MNA Khuwaja Karim Dad’ resident to offer condolence with bereaved family, he said that heavy weapons had also been recvovred from the custody of miscreants. Some 148 arms, including kalashinkov and other sophisticated weapons have been seized during the operation, he said.
He vowed that action would be continued against the elements involved in targeted killings.
“I used to talk about dream, but not now, it is time to bring results” he said.
Speaking about ban on pillion riding, the minister said that there was no ban on pillion riding for women, journalists, disables and elderly.
