Karachi: over 100 suspects involved in terrorist activities have been arrested in what Karachi Police Chief said an indiscriminate operation against terrorists.
Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Saud Mirza told media that though fresh incidents of violence could not be completely stopped, it could not be term a failure of police.
Police would conduct a focused operation in the affected areas and the places where the victims’ bodies were found, he added.
While reiterating that terrorists would be taken to task, Mirza expressed the hope that normalcy would soon return to the city.
