Quetta: The government Balochistan, western province of Pakistan, is not serious to bring the murderers of Nawab Akbar Bugti to the justice. It wrote a letter to federal government reluctantly but now Islamabad is also hesitant to act upon it as they don’t want to upset General Headquarter.
Nawabzada Jameel Akbar Bugti , son of Nawab Akbar Bugti, who was killed in a military operation during the regime of Pervez Musharraf, said this while talking to journalists outside Balochistan High Court after the hearing of Bugti’s killing case on Wednesday. He said that almost 90 percent people are sitting in the cabinet which were also included in Musharraf’s government.
Those who gave approval to murder Bugti would never desire that the investigation could not be completed. The investigators were sent to the court after making them dumb and deaf, which is evidence that government does not want to punish the killers of Akbar Bugti.
He said that even after lapse of 19 months no development was made in the case. It seems that after passing of 19 years, the investigation would not be completed.
He said that Chief Secretary stopped investigators from arresting nominated persons in the case. He may tell better that either it was his own decision or he received any dictation from somewhere else in this regard.
“I do not accept any good hope from the government as they are making us fool by different delaying tactics.”, Bugti said, added that, nominated persons in the case including Owais Ghani, Jam Muhammad Yousaf, Aftab Sherpao and Shoaib Nosherwani are present in Pakistan and they could be questioned about the murder of Akbar Bugti but this all would happen when the government would show its commitment to resolve the case.
