Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) on Tuesday increased power tariff by Rs. 1.04 per unit.
According to media reports, the decision of increment was made by NEPRA on demand of power distribution companies.
The tariff raise would be applicable from the month of June and additional tariff would be charged in bills of next month.
Earlier last week, NEPRA had approved increase in power tariff of Lakhra Power Generation Company (LPGC) by Rs 6.58 per unit.
The would not be applicable for the KESC.
